BOWIE, Md. – The Bowie State women's volleyball team returns to action Monday, Oct. 17 when the Bulldogs play host Lincoln (PA) for a conference match at 6 p.m. in A.C. Jordan Arena.

The Matchup
The last 20 matches between Bowie State and Lincoln (PA) have tied at 10-apiece. The Bulldogs have won four straight against the Lions including a 3-1 set win in both match ups in 2021.
Bowie State
Bowie State will look to get back into the win column with a home tilt against Lincoln (PA). The Bulldogs suffered a 3-0 (12-25, 22-25, and 14-25) to Elizabeth City State last time out. The loss snapped a four-match win-streak at home, as the Bulldogs dipped to 8-9 overall and 4-7 in league action.
The leaders for BSU this season has been graduate senior Jailyn Ivey (Bowie, MD) with 153 kills, junior Lindsey Grossman (Albany, OR) with 305 assists and 141 digs. Bowie State ranks sixth in the CIAA, averaging 9.69 kills per set while allowing its opponents to average 10.07 kills per set. The Bulldogs do rank third in service aces with 138 on the year and fourth in team blocks (91.5).
Lincoln (PA)
The Lions enter Monday's match with a 4-13 overall record and 1-10 mark in the CIAA. LUPA has lost its last six matches and stand 1-5 on the road this season. The Lions lone conference win was against Livingstone (3-0) during the CIAA round-up.
Last timeout, LUPA fell to Virginia State 3-0 (25-19, 25-11, and 25-10). Haley Loper had six kills while Jaida Lumpkin finished with seven assists and Mariah Webster recorded 12 digs.
