FROSTBURG, MD -- The Bowie State volleyball team fell to the Walsh Cavaliers in three sets (16-25, 13-25, 14-25) Friday night at Bobcat Arena.
The non-conference loss moved Bowie State to 0-2 on the season.
Rayah Burge finished with five kills on the day to lead the Bulldogs offense. got eight digs from Ayana Johnson to lead them defensively.

SET 1 | The Bulldogs couldn't persevere past a ferocious Walsh rally in the first set, falling 25-16 after leading by 20 points at 51-31 earlier in the set.
SET 2 | Bowie State lost set two 25-13, digging a 2-0 deficit in the match. The Bulldogs couldn't endure a furious Walsh rally in the second set, losing after leading by 31 points at 56-25 earlier in the set.
SET 3 | Bowie State could not win set three and was swept by Walsh. The Bulldogs couldn't endure a furious Walsh rally, falling 25-14 after leading by 30 points at 56-26 earlier in the set.
