BOWIE, MD -- The Bowie State women's volleyball team hits the road on Saturday, Sept. 23 in a non-conference battle with Notre Dame (MD). First serve is slated for 1 p.m. from the MBK Sports Complex.

Bowie State (1-11) is coming off a three-set sweep (25, 26-28, 15-25) by Morgan State on Tuesday. Madison Adderley-Julien finished with seven kills on the day to lead the Bulldogs offense while finishing with a hitting percentage of .438. Rayah Burge added 10 digs to lead BSU defensively.

The Series
This will be the second meeting between the two programs on Saturday. The Bulldogs are 0-1 all-time against the Gators, dating back to 2016 where BSU suffered a 3-0 (3-25, 10-25, 9-25).

Notre Dame (MD) is 4-6 overall, 1-0 at home but have lost its last three matches entering this weekend's match against Bowie State.The Gators fell 3-1 to Gallaudet (12-25, 25-19, 18-25, 16-25) led by Miasia Ferrer with eight kills, 13 assists from Emma Mueller and 20 digs from Paulina Hernandez. As a team, Notre Dame (MD) has a kills per set average of 9.7 and stops (16.6) while its opponents have managed 10.5 kills per set and 17.0 digs. 

Notre Dame (MD) is a NCAA Division III institution led by Henry DeTitta who has been at the helm since 2007.
