Clear Bag Policy
Fans will only be able to carry the following style and size bag into the stadium all of which are subject to search.
• Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12"
• One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)
• Small clutch bags, measuring 4.5" x 6.5" with or without a handle or strap
• All other bags will not be permitted. A list of prohibited bags includes but is not limited to: purses, backpacks, drawstring bags that are not clear, briefcases, coolers, fanny packs, luggage, computer bags, camera bags, binocular cases, and diaper bags. Guests are encouraged to return unauthorized items to their vehicles. Bowie State University cannot safeguard items that are not permitted into the stadium.
The Series
Monday's match-up will be just the 25th time the two programs will meet, as the Bulldogs owns a 14-10 record over the Lions. In the previous meeting, BSU claimed a 3-2 (18-25, 25-17, 25-13, 22-25, 17-15) victory over LUPA last season on senior night inside A.C. Jordan Arena.

Bowie State (5-15, 2-6 CIAA) lost its last outing against CIAA opponent Elizabeth City State University this past Thursday in three sets 3-0 (15-25, 17-25, 25-27). Offensively, Nicole Taylor led the Bulldogs with nine kills along with a season-high four blocks. On the defensive end, Taylor Johnson recorded 11 digs in the loss.

Nina Edwards leads the Bulldogs in kills (124) and blocks (48), while Trinity Loundmon is the team's leading passer with 243 assists. Johnson leads the team offensively in aces (17) and defensively with 212 digs. Bowie State is ranked second with 2.10 blocks per game and is ranked fifth in hitting percentage .144 amongst the CIAA.

LUPA enters Monday's match with a (1-12, 0-3 CIAA) record after losing to CIAA foe Virginia Union University on the road in four sets 3-1 (22-25,9-25,25,25-20,17-25) Oct. 14. Charly Manley led the Lions with season-high nine kills and three aces, while Smith recorded 16 assists. Defensively, Janiece Lumpkin racked up five digs and Audreynette Lydgate had four blocks in the loss this past Monday. The Lady Lions leaders are Erica Taylor who leads the team in kills (229) while Jadia Lumpkin is the team's leading passer with 336 assists. Janaa Smith controls the pace with 39 aces while Mariah Webster owns 338 digs and Erinn Taylor has 50 blocks.

Bowie State will travel on Saturday, Oct 26-27 to Petersburg Va., for it's second and final CIAA Round-Up of the season. The Bulldogs will take on ClaflinUniversity at 3 p.m. on Saturday (Oct. 26), followed by Winston-Salem State University (Oct. 26) and Johnson C. Smith University on Sunday (Oct.27) at 11a.m. and 3 p.m.
