BOWIE, MD — The Bowie State men's basketball team looks to snap a two-game skid against Elizabeth City State University in a Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Northern Division matchup and Alumni Takeover. This will be the nightcap game of a doubleheader featuring the women's game beginning at 2 p.m.
The doubleheader will be streamed live on the Bulldog Sports Network.

The Bulldogs (7-15, 2-10 CIAA, 1-4 North) are coming off a loss against the Bluefield State University, 73-77. BSU managed to out-rebound Big Blue 46 to 33 but struggled to find success from the 3-point line only shooting 2-12 from behind the arch. Joel Webb led the team in scoring with 22 points and nine rebounds. Anthony Carpenter almost notched a double-double with eight points and 11 rebounds on the night.
Warren Mouganda leads the Bulldogs in scoring (11.2) while Webb leads the CIAA in field goal percentage (60.8) and the team in rebounds (5.9).
About Elizabeth City State
Elizabeth City State (7-16, 4-8 CIAA, 2-3 North) is coming off a 68-65 loss against Claflin University. The Vikings managed to be disruptive on the defensive end causing 17 turnovers. Tre Richardson led the Vikings in the loss with 13 points and five rebounds off the bench. Christopher Wright shined defensively with seven steals on the night.
