Clear Bag Policy
Fans will only be able to carry the following style and size bag into the stadium, all of which are subject to search.
- Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12"
- One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)
- Small clutch bags, measuring 4.5" x 6.5" with or without a handle or strap
- All other bags will not be permitted. A list of prohibited bags includes but is not limited to: purses, backpacks, drawstring bags that are not clear, briefcases, coolers, fanny packs, luggage, computer bags, camera bags, binocular cases, and diaper bags. Guests are encouraged to return unauthorized items to their vehicles.
Bowie State University cannot safeguard items that are not permitted into the stadium.

Senior Day
As their collegiate careers near completion, Bowie State Athletics will honor 14 seniors during Saturday's game. The Bulldogs sincerely thank the following seniors for their dedication, leadership, and hard work throughout their time in the program: Malakai Anthony, Michael Benn, Elijah Bailey-Lowden, Alus MBella, Samuel Graham, Jamal Jones, Kyree Lenn, Tommie McKoy, III, Damir McCrary, Julius Saunders, Johnathan Smith, Jayon Vernerable, LaTreil Wimberly, and Jordan Williams.
The Series
Saturday's matchup marks the 16th meeting between Bowie State and Elizabeth City State since 2009, with the Bulldogs holding an 13-2 edge in the series. Bowie State's has been dominated the series, winning 11-straight contests from 2013 to 2024, outscoring the Vikings 634-251.

Scouting the Bulldogs
Bowie State enters the matchup averaging 311.3 yards of total offense per game while allowing 343.9 yards. The Bulldogs' offense is balanced, led by quarterbacks Kevin Taylor and Malakai Anthony, who have combined for 1,360 passing yards and seven touchdowns with just three interceptions. Joseph Towler is the top target with 305 receiving yards (CIAA No. 10), while Challenger Valentine (261 yards) and Ty Lyles (203 yards) provide steady secondary options.
On the ground, the Bulldogs features one of the CIAA's top rushing duos in Micah Robinson (578 yards, 4.5 avg, CIAA No. 3) and Maximus Jones (481 yards, 4.8 avg, CIAA No. 5). Jones also ranks sixth in the conference in scoring with seven rushing touchdowns.
Defensively, BSU boasts the CIAA's fourth-ranked defense under defensive coordinator Avery Williams, allowing just 26.9 points per game and leading the league as the No. 1 red zone defense. Samuel Graham leads the team with 56 tackles, including 3.5 tackles for loss, a sack, three forced fumbles, and a 53-yard fumble return touchdown. Moses Sarweh ranks second in the CIAA in tackles per game (44 total) with 4.5 tackles for loss, while Jamal Jones has been dominant up front with 13 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks, ranking second in the CIAA in both categories. In the secondary, Elijah McKenzie anchors the back end, leading the CIAA in passes defended (16), while LaTreil Wimberly ranks seventh (8).
Special teams continue to be a bright spot, highlighted by kicker Chris Coleman's 8-of-14 field goals with a long of 35 yards, and Bowie's CIAA No. 2-ranked kickoff unit. Dynamic return specialists Lyles (28.4-yard kickoff return average, CIAA No. 2) and Towler (11.7-yard punt return average, CIAA No. 2) have helped the Bulldogs consistently win the field position battle.
Scouting Elizabeth City State
Elizabeth City State enters the matchup under head coach Adrian Jones, featuring one of the CIAA's most improved offenses and the league's top unit in forced fumbles. The Vikings average 304.1 yards of total offense and 24.8 points per game, led by a balanced attack between the air and ground.
Quarterback Christopher Perkins ranks sixth in the CIAA in passing, throwing for 1,284 yards and 14 touchdowns while completing 60 percent of his passes. A dual threat, Perkins has also added 359 rushing yards and three scores on the ground. In the backfield, Traquan Johnson ranks ninth in the CIAA in rushing, tallying 408 yards and three touchdowns on 114 carries. The passing game is deep, highlighted by Ka'Trez Bracey (342 yards, 3 TDs), Terrance Holland (201 yards, 3 TDs), and Joe Griffin, who has been a key red-zone target with four touchdown receptions.
Defensively, the Vikings are physical and opportunistic, leading the CIAA in forced fumbles and producing big plays across the board. Chris Calhoun ranks seventh in the CIAA in tackles with 56 stops, while Drewvon Oxendine sits tenth in sacks with 3.5. Sean Worthy has been a ballhawk in the secondary, ranking fourth in the CIAA in interceptions, and Jordan Evans adds punch to the front seven, ranking fourth in forced fumbles.
On special teams, Darius Satterfield ranks sixth in the CIAA in punting, averaging 37.4 yards per punt with a long of 62 yards. Terrance Holland provides a spark in the return game, averaging 21.5 yards per kickoff return, while the kicking duties are shared between Benjamin Turner and Wyatt Jackson.

The Bulldogs will travel to Lincoln University, Pa., for their season finale against the Lions of Lincoln (PA) in a CIAA contest on Saturday, Nov. 8. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. at LU Athletics Stadium.
