BOWIE, MD --The Bowie State men's basketball team got an 18-point performance from the bench but fell short 86-47 to the Lincoln (PA) Lions in a Central Intercollegiate Athletics Association (CIAA) matchup at home in A.C. Jordan Arena Saturday afternoon.

Amare Wimbush led the Bulldogs (15-13, 7-9, 5-5) with 12 points. Caleb Johnson also added nine points and Warren Mouganda chipped in as well with six points.

How It Happened
Bowie State struggled out of the gate, falling behind 39-26 heading into halftime. The Bulldogs did find success shooting the three-point shot, shooting 40 percent from behind the arc.

BSU could not pull any closer in the second half, losing by a final of 86-47. Bowie State capitalized on six Lincoln (PA) turnovers in the period, collecting seven points off those turnovers.
