BOWIE, MD – Bowie State University women's flag football team (2-1-1) will travel to River City to compete in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Conference Round-Up 2, hosted by Virginia Union University in Richmond, Va., from Friday, Mar. 28 to Saturday, Mar. 29.
Bulldogs Last Timeout
The Bulldogs opened their inaugural season at the CIAA Round-Up 1 with back-to-back victories, defeating Bluefield State University 12-6 and edging out Fayetteville State University 13-12 in a thrilling contest. On Thursday, BSU battled hard but lost 2-0 to Claflin University before closing out the tournament with a scoreless tie against Livingstone College.
