CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Bowie State's Lindsey George has been named the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week, announced by the league office Tuesday morning. This marks her second consecutive honor since the start of conference play.
The Fayetteville, Ga., native has been superb on the mound since the start of conference play. Over the last four games, George has posted a 3-1 record, striking out 18 batters in 18 innings while helping the Bulldogs achieve a perfect 4-0 divisional record this past weekend. Her poise under pressure has made her an invaluable asset to the Bulldogs' pitching rotation.

The Bulldogs continue their road stretch with a non-conference matchup against Division I Delaware State on Wednesday, Apr. 2, at the Hornets' nest in Dover, Del. Game one is scheduled for 2 p.m.
