BOWIE, MD – Bowie State University Recreation and Intramurals has officially begun its 2025 women's flag football season. The Bulldogs will participate in two Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Round-Up event and conclude the season at the CIAA Women's Flag Football Championship in Charlotte, N.C. hosted by Johnson C. Smith University.
The season kicks off on Wednesday, March 5, in Winston-Salem, N.C., with matchups against Bluefield State and Fayetteville State as part of CIAA Round-Up #1. The following day, the Bulldogs will battle Claflin University and Livingstone College to complete the round-up.
Later in the month, the Bulldogs will travel to Richmond, Va., hosted by Virginia Union University for CIAA Round-Up #2, where they will compete against Johnson C. Smith and Winston-Salem State on Friday, March 28, followed by a contest against Virginia Union on Saturday, March 29.
The season will culminate on April 10, at the CIAA Women's Flag Football Championship in Charlotte, N.C.
