BOWIE, MD – The Bowie State football program will take center stage on Saturday, October 11, when the Bulldogs host longtime rival Virginia State in a key Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) matchup. Kickoff is set for 1:05 p.m. from Bulldog Stadium, and the game will be broadcast live nationwide on HBCU GO.

The matchup between the Bulldogs and the Trojans is one of the most anticipated games of the season, featuring two CIAA powerhouses with a history of high-stakes competition. Bowie State has won two of the last four meetings, including a 41-14 victory on Oct. 8, 2022, in Petersburg, Va. This year's game at Bulldog Stadium will also serve as Honors and Family Day that includes a blackout theme, fans are encouraged to wear black and show their Bulldog pride.
