2025 Bowie State Women's Volleyball
The Bulldogs head into this weekend ready to launch their 2025 campaign with a roster filled with returning experience and talented newcomers. After finishing 10-20 overall and 7-8 in CIAA play with an appearance in the conference championship tournament, head coach Edric Poitier, who enters his fourth season at the helm, is aiming to take Bowie State to the next level.

Poitier brings back 17 returners while adding two transfers and one freshman to the mix. Leading the way for the Bulldogs are preseason All-CIAA selections Nina Edwards and Nicole Taylor, along with 2024 CIAA Rookie of the Year Taylor Johnson, who looks to continue her dominance on the court and elevate her play.

Shepherd University
The Rams finished 24-6 overall and 14-0 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) last season, placing second overall in the league and earning a berth in the NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional Tournament, where they fell to conference foe Indiana (Pa.) in a 3-0 loss. Shepherd is led by head coach Alex Hoekstra, who enters his 11th season at the helm after being named the 2024 PSAC East Coach of the Year. In the 2025 Preseason Coaches' Poll, the Rams were picked to finish first in the PSAC East.

University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown
The Mountain Cats are led by head coach Justin Haupt, who enters his third season in 2025. Pitt-Johnstown finished 19-10 overall and 6-8 in conference play last season, while protecting home court with a 7-2 record. In the 2025 PSAC Preseason Coaches' Poll, the Mountain Cats were picked to finish fourth in the West Division.

Concord University
Concord finished 17-16 overall and 9-6 in conference play last season under head coach Kate Dillon, who returns for her 17th year leading the program. The Mountain Lions' 2025 roster features 11 returners along with 10 true freshmen. In the 2025 Mountain East Conference Preseason Poll, CU was picked to finish third in the Southern Division.

Bloomsburg University
Bloomsburg finished 9-18 overall and 6-8 in conference play last season under second-year head coach Lee Anderson. The Huskies were selected fourth in the PSAC East Preseason Coaches' Poll for the 2025 season.
