Clear Bag Policy
Fans will only be able to carry the following style and size bag into the arena, all of which are subject to search:
• Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12"
• One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)
• Small clutch bags, measuring 4.5" x 6.5" with or without a handle or strap
• All other bags will not be permitted. A list of prohibited bags includes but is not limited to: purses, backpacks, drawstring bags that are not clear, briefcases, coolers, fanny packs, luggage, computer bags, camera bags, binocular cases, and diaper bags. Guests are encouraged to return unauthorized items to their vehicles.
Bowie State University cannot safeguard items that are not permitted into the arena.
Bowie State in conference play
- Record: 1–1 CIAA, 3–10 overall.
- Offense: Lyric Snowden (3.6 kills/set) and Nina Edwards (3.0 kills/set, .450 pct) are the main weapons; Nicole Taylor adds depth. Team hits at a solid .232 clip.
- Setting: Mekenna Scott runs the offense with 5.0 assists/set, supported by Trinity Loundmon.
- Blocking: Strong at the net (2.1/set), with Edwards leading.
- Serving: 1.9 aces/set but nearly as many errors; Taylor Johnson (4 aces) is the most effective.
- Defense: Johnson anchors back row (3.9 digs/set); Snowden contributes (2.7 digs/set).
Bulldogs Last Timeout
The Bowie State women's volleyball team earned a 3-1 road win at Elizabeth City State Monday night in Elizabeth City, N.C. After dropping the first set 25-20, the Bulldogs bounced back with wins of 25-15, 25-18, and 27-25.
Edwards, Taylor, and Snowden led the offense with timely kills, while Loundmon added key service aces. Strong blocking and balanced contributions across the lineup helped BSU secure its first conference victory of the season.
Scouting Washington Adventist
- Record: 3–2 overall.
- Offense: Led by Ariyanna Gross (2.6 kills/set) and Samiah Gross (2.3). Heavy reliance on the pair, but team hitting pct. is just .049 with lots of errors.
- Defense: Average in the back row (8.2 digs/set), limited blocking presence at the net.
- Serving/Passing: Struggle in serve receive (34 errors) and don't generate many aces.
Shock Last Timeout
WAU dropped a tough 3-2 battle to Penn State Mont Alto on Sunday. The Shock took the first two sets (25-23, 25-11) behind strong play from Ariyanna Gross, Eden Perkins, and Zabria Fakeye, but Mont Alto rallied to win the next three, including the decisive fifth set 15-10.
