Aaron Kinchen

Aaron Kinchen is entering his 15th season as a member of the Bowie State University football coaching staff. During his tenure at Bowie State he has coached several All-CIAA Players. 

Kinchen began his college coaching career in 1999 where he was the defensive line coach at Bowie State University. During that season, Kinchen started out as the Linebackers coach and later in the season he was asked to coach the Defensive Line, where he developed an All-CIAA Player. 

After one season on the sideline with the Bowie State football program, Kinchen moved on to Morgan State University where he coached the Defensive Line for two seasons (2000 and 2001). 

Prior to joining the collegiate ranks, Coach Kinchen served as Assistant Coach at Eleanor Roosevelt High School (Greenbelt, MD) and at Suitland High School (Forestville, MD) where he coach under the late Coach David “Nick” Lynch. 

Coach Kinchen graduated from Howard University in 1994 with a degree in Consumer Affairs Management and a minor in Marketing, he was a member of Howard University football team. Kinchen was a starter on the 1993 undefeated team that won the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Championship and was crowned Black College National Champions. He also was named as First Team Black College All-American at Howard and was First Team All-Conference in the MEAC.
