Arthur Thomas begins his 33rd season on the Bowie State football coaching staff. He started his coaching career at Broadneck High School.
The Annapolis City native received his A.A. Degree (Business Administration) from Wenatchee (WA) Valley College and participated in football and baseball.
In 2019, Thomas was inducted into the Bowie State Athletic Hall of Fame. He retired as a Chief Warrant Officer of the United States Army, serving in Vietnam as well with Operation Desert Storm and also is a retired Administrator from the Annapolis Parks and Recreation Department.
Thomas has been married to Lester Mae Thomas for over 30 years.
