Coach Charles Grant is in his second season with the Bowie State football program. In 2013, Grant served as an NFL Intern working with the Bulldogs defensive line and will serve as the linebackers coach and assistant defensive coordinator.
Grant graduated from Hargrave Military Academy and went on to play collegiately at the University of Georgia. Following his playing days as a UGA Bulldog, the Colquitt, Georgia native was a first round selection (25th overall pick) of the New Orleans Saints in 2001. Grant played ten seasons which included a Super Bowl ring with the Saints in 2010.
