David Fant enters his third season with the Bulldogs football program serving as assistant coach responsible for the Tight Ends and brings 18 successful years of coaching experience.

Coach Fant is employed full-time by the Prince George's County Public School Sytem and serves as an Art teacher at Duval High School. Fant has also served as Athletic Director at Largo High (2008-2013) and Assistant Athletic Director at Dr. Henry A. Wise, Jr. High School (2006-2007).

Fant's coaching experience consists of being Head Football Coach at Largo High School (2009-2013), Offensive Coordinator/Receivers Coach at Dr. Henry A. Wise (2007), Head Coach of the Frederick Outlaws-East Coast Football Alliance (Minor League Football) from 2006-2009, Offensive Coordinator/Receiver Coach at Montgomery-Rockville Community College (2002), Defensive Backs/Receivers Coach at Frederick Douglass High School (1999-2001 & 2003-2005) and Running Backs coach at Southern Durham High, NC (1997-1998).

Coach Fant obtained his Bachelor of Art degree in Visual Communications from N.C. Central University in 1997.

Fant is married to Shanae Fant and they are the proud parents of three sons David III, Dilan and Devin.
