Maurice Paulk

Maurice Paulk enters his 13th year of coaching football and second season with Bowie State University as the offensive line coach.

Previously, Paulk served as the assistant offensive line coach for the 2021 season.

Prior to Bowie State, Paulk served as the offensive line coach at Alvernia University in 2019. His unit comprised of mostly all freshmen that led the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) in total rushing yards (2,014), yards per game (201.4) and TD’s (22) which were all program records.

Before Alvernia, Paulk spent two years at Howard University as an offensive quality control coach (OL) during the 2017 and 2018 seasons where he helped lead the Bison to a shocking 43-40 victory over FBS opponent University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV).
 
In 2016, Paulk coached the defensive line at Virginia State University – a season that saw the Trojans finished 9-2 overall. He coached a CIAA all-conference, DII All-American (Honorable Mention) and CIAA Defensive Player of the Year.

Paulk had two stints with Glasgow High School (2007 and 2008) and (2013, 2014 and 2015 seasons) where he was the assistant head coach & offensive line coach. In 2013, Paulk anchored a unit that set a program record for rushing yards in game totaling 60 rushes for 457 yards and 5 TDS.
 
Paulk is a proud graduate of Cheyney University of Pa., where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications.
 
A native of Philadelphia, PA, Paulk is the son of the Late Peter J. Paulk III and Tracy Harpe. He has an older brother Peter J. Paulk IV and is the proud father of Maurice Paulk II.
