Born and raised in Washington D.C., Abdul-Rahim has over 15 years of coaching high school football experience, primarily as a Defensive Coordinator and Passing Game Coordinator.Â

During his coaching career, he has been responsible for helping over 171 kids receive full football scholarships to universities across the nation. Abdul-Rahim demonstrated the ability to sustain a successful high school program at Friendship, where he played a major role in overseeing all aspects of a year-round football program.

The Dunbar High School product was a three-year starter in basketball and football, graduating in 1999. Abdul-Rahim possesses an Associate’s Degree from Scottsdale Community College and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development from the University of Kansas in 2002. He was a two-year starter (1999-2001) at cornerback for the Jayhawks. Abdul-Rahim is the father of three boys Muhammad (18), Qur’an (14), and Nadir (5).
