(HAMPTON, Va.)  The CIAA released its first basketball weekly honor roll of the season and Bowie State University second-year head coach Darrell Brooks was selected as men's Coach of the Week.  Brooks led the Bulldogs to consecutive opening week victories, defeating the University of the District of Columbia (87-81) and nationally ranked Indiana University of Pennsylvania (71-68).

Bowie State will return to action Friday (November 26) versus Johnson C. Smith University in the opening collegiate game of the Fresh Coast Classic in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
