(BALTIMORE, Md.)  Bowie State's women's track and field team represented well at the Coppin State Eagle Twilight meet, placing fourth overall with 76 points.  Delaware State won the women's division (101 points), followed by Morgan State (85 points), Coppin State (81 points) and Bowie State.  Cheyney (63 points), Lincoln (Pa.) (50 points) and Maryland-Eastern Shore (40 points) rounded out the field of seven.

Kayla Campbell, Lakesha Carney (Hampton, VA, Denbigh) and Brandy Peat (Newport News, VA, Denbigh) finished one, two and three in the Shot Put.  Carney took first in the Discus Throw (46.90m (153-10) followed by Alyce Harrell in second with a throw of 43.40m (142-05).  

Nicole Robinson (Columbia, MD, Atholton) brought home a second place finish in the 100 Meter Hurdles (14.56).  John'nae Allen Davis and Brittany Williams came home with third place finishes in the 200 Meter Dash and 800 Meter Run respectively.

The Bowie State women took second in the 4x100 and 4x400 Meter Relay  with times of 48.06 and 3:56.12 respectively.
