The Top Dog: Bowie State's Yassine Kamara continues to show why she's one of the best in the nation, earning a first-place finish in the college women's discus throw with an impressive throw of 50.84 meters this past weekend at the Penn Relays in Philadelphia, Pa.

• Kamara also finished top-25 in the women's shotput with a mark of 13.46m.

• Marlin Newsome, Jr. finished 26^th in the men's 100m dash with a time of 10.94 seconds.

• Jaeden Warner claimed 26^th placed finish in the men's discus throw with a mark of 44.23m.

• Bulldogs 4x100m relay team of; Jamir Roberts, Dareon Faircloth, Jaiden Jarrett, and Newsome, Jr. placed 13^th overall with a time of 41.55 seconds.
• BSU's 4x400m team of; Dominic Boston, Benick Akeh, Markell Yarborough, and Nathan Jacobs finished 18^th overall with a time of 3:16.11 seconds.
