REDMAN MAKES PITTSBURGH STEELERS 53-MAN ROSTER

Isaac Redman Ends Bowie State Career as All-Time Rushing Yards Leader
(PITTSBURGH, PA)
   Former Bowie State University Bulldogs running back Isaac Redman (Paulsboro, NJ, Paulsboro) has made the 53-man roster for the NFL's Pittsburgh Steelers. Redman was a member of the Steelers practice squad during the 2009-2010 campaign. 

The Paulsboro, New Jersey native, carried the ball 28 times in three 2010 pre-season games, pounding out 140 yards (5.0 yards per carry) and scored two touchdowns. Redman is currently third on the Steelers depth chart. The Pittsburgh Steelers will open the season at home (Heinz Field) – Sunday, September 12th versus the Atlanta Falcons. 

Redman played four seasons for the Bulldogs and ended his collegiate career as BSU's All-Time Career Rushing Yards Leader with 2,762. He also set Bowie State records in the following categories; Single Season Record Rushing Yards - 1,512 (2005), Single Game Rushing Yards – 218 vs. Livingstone (2007) and Longest Run from Scrimmage – 99 vs. Morgan State (2005).
