(GLENVILLE, W.Va. – November 26, 2011) The Lady Bulldogs of Bowie State University were in search of their first win of the season, but will have to wait a while longer after suffering a 114-79 beating at Glenville State College. The loss drops BSU's record to 0-3.
Bowie State stayed close early, trailing by just two (16-14) at the 12:50 mark of the first half. However, Glenville State took command of the game from there leading by as much as 19 points twice in the first period and strolled into halftime with 58-41 cushion.
Glenville (4-2) continued to dominate in the second half, but Bowie State's Lady Bulldogs didn't give up and narrowed the gap to 71-60 with 16:55 left to play. However, the Lady Bulldogs had no answer for the Lady Pioneers.
Danielle Woodmore and Tenisha Wilson scored a game-high 18 points apiece to pace Glenville State's Lady Pioneers. Wilson also grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds in the romp.

Juliette Turner topped the Lady Bulldogs with 17 points and a game-high 13 rebounds. Sophomore
Chanet Wallace chipped in a season-high 13 points to go along with eight rebounds. Sophomore
Brooke Miles and freshman
ReVen Smith added 12 points each for the Lady Bulldogs.
The Lady Bulldogs will make their first home appearance – Saturday (December 3), hosting the Lady Golden Bulls of Johnson C. Smith at 2 pm in BSU's A.C. Jordan Arena.
