(BOWIE, Md.) Bowie State men's basketball senior Eric Vann (Clinton, MD, Gwynn Park, Prince George's C.C.) has been selected to participate in the Eighth Annual Historic Black College All-Star Classic held April 23, 2011 in Columbus, GA.

The Historic Black College All-Star Game features the top 24 basketball players from historic black colleges and universities from across the United States. The Classic will be played at the Columbus Civic Center in Columbus, GA. 

Vann was a First Team All-CIAA selection, Most Valuable Player of the Fresh Coast Classic in Milwaukee (WI) and a member of the CIAA All-Tournament Team. Vann led Bowie State in scoring, averaging 17.7 points per game for the 23-6 Bulldogs.
