Box Score LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. -- The Lady Bulldogs of Bowie State University won their first match of the decision, beating the Shaw University Lady Bears in five sets by score of 18-25, 25-15, 25-20, 13-25 and 15-10.

Sophomore Paige McIntosh paced Bowie State with a match-high 14 kills and junior Brelyn Finley added 10 kills. McIntosh tied for team-high dig honors with redshirt freshman Marissa Martinez with seven dogs each. Junior Kasi Eisenzimmer once again led the Lady Bulldogs in set assists with 20 to go along with a match-high three service aces. Bowie State freshman Kheri Mobley led both team in blocks with three and added six kills.


Shaw was led by Shane Walton and Sashame Watson with 11 and 10 kills respectively. Watson led the Lady Bears in digs with 10.


Bowie State returns to the court September 20th at Virginia State. Match time for the Lady Bulldogs and Lady Trojans is 6 pm in VSU's Daniel Gymnasium.
