(Upper Marlboro, Md.) scored her first points of the game to give the Lady Bulldogs a little breathing room at 40-35.

The Lady Panthers pulled to within one (48-47) with 1:39 left in the game on a Freeman 3-pointer and had a chance to create an overtime, but the Lady Bulldogs defense held up.

The Lady Bulldogs return to action on Saturday (1/25) hosting the Hawks of Chowan University at 2 pm.
