Box Score HAMPTON, Va. - Bowie State University junior Anthony McDaniel (Fort Washington, Md.) was selected football Defensive Lineman of the Week by the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Sports Information Directors on Tuesday, September 30, 2014.

McDaniel racked up a game-high 12 tackles in Saturday's 36-33 loss at Livingstone. He also had one sack, two TFL's, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. 
 
This is the first Defensive Lineman of the Week award for McDaniel this season. McDaniel and his teammates return home for the first time in three weeks, hosting the Golden Bulls of Johnson C. Smith University on Saturday, October 4 at 4 pm.
