CHARLESTON, S.C. - Former Bowie State University football standout
Khari Lee (Baltimore, Md.) will participate in the 2015
Medal of Honor Bowl this Saturday (January 10th) and will represent the National Team. Lee is the only Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) player on the National squad.Â

Lee was a three-time All-CIAA tight end selection and led the 2014 Bowie State Bulldogs in receptions (34) and reception yards (389), starting all 10 games.

Mike Sellers (Winston-Salem State), Nigel Crawford (St. Augustine's), Alfy Hill (Winston-Salem State) were selected as well and will participate on the American squad.

Kickoff for the second annual Medal of Honor Bowl is at 2:30 p.m. at the Johnson Hagood Stadium on the campus of the Citadel. The game will be televised on the NBC Sports Network with live stats available at

The Medal of Honor Bowl, which will be televised live nationally by the NBC Sports Network, is a premier all-star game the features some of the nation's top draft-eligible college football players as projected for the NFL Draft. The game honors the Medal of Honor recipients and the game's beneficiaries, the Medal of Honor Museum Foundation, disabled veterans and The Wounded Warriors Project.
