Bowie, Md. – The Bowie State University volleyball completed the season series sweep of Washington Adventist University of Tuesday evening, blanking the Lady Shock 3-0 (25-8, 25-11 and 25-12).

Jasmine Ashe (Baltimore, Md.) added three kills while senior
Yaje Ngundam (Bowie, Md.) and junior
Adrielle Brisbon (Fort Washington, Md.) contributed a pair of kills each in the three set win.

Amy Harvey (Laurel, Md.) and sophomore
Cheyenne Salter (Baltimore, Md.) were responsible for all of Bowie State's assists, tallying 15 and eight respectively. Seniors
Marissa Martinez (Albuquerque, N.M.) and
Alexis Fisher (Chesapeake Beach, Md.) led the Lady Bulldogs with four service aces each and sophomore
Kelisha Perry (Baltimore, Md.) accounted for three service aces.
Washington Adventist (0-8) was led by Delaina Williams (Clifton, N.J.) with a team-high three kills to go along with two solo blocks. Sarah Allsop (Wilmington, Del.) picked up a match-high 12 digs and teammate Sierra Simons (Southhampton, Bermuda) earned seven digs in the loss.
The Lady Bulldogs return to conference play on Thursday (10/8), traveling to Lincoln University of Pennsylvania for a 7 p.m. match against the Lady Lions.
