HAMPTON, Va. -The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association, in conjunction with the CIAA Softball Coaches Associations, announces its selections for the 2015 All-Conference Teams, All-Rookie Team and Players of the Year.

Of those being honored, Bowie State senior Cassandra Clayborne (Damascus, Md.) was named to the All-CIAA First Team while freshmen Jacqueline Pickering (Bowie, Md.) and Hannah Willis (St. Leonard, Md.) were selected to the CIAA All-Rookie Team.

CIAA Softball Player of the Year is Morgan Hasty, who plays third base for Johnson C. Smith University.  She led the conference in batting with a .481 average.  Hasty had 32 RBI and eight home runs during the season.

The CIAA All-Rookie Softball Team is led by Marley Parker, a pitcher/utility player for St. Augustine's University.  Parker played in 28 games and batted .384 with a .671 slugging percentage.  She made three appearances as a pitcher striking out five batters.
