WEST CHESTER, Pa. – Bowie State University (0-4) continues play hard during this opening weekend, but the Lady Bulldogs dropped straight sets to Holy Family University and Ursuline College during the Ramfest finale on Saturday.
Holy Family defeated Bowie State 25-17, 25-9 and 25-17 while Ursuline topped the Lady Bulldogs 25-8, 25-12 and 25-17.
Senior
Yaje Ngundam (Bowie, Md.) paced Bowie State with a team-high 12 kills over the two matches while junior
Breiona Garrison (Baltimore, Md.) chipped in 50 kills. Junior
Alexis Fisher (Chesapeake Beach, Md.) along with sophomore
Valerie Taylor recorded 33 kills apiece for the Lady Bulldogs. Taylor also led Bowie State with six total blocks.

Adrielle Brisbon (Fort Washington, Md.) led Bowie State with 19 assists to go along with three service aces. Senior
Marissa Martinez tallied a team-high digs and Ngundam ranked second on the team in digs over the two matches with 20.
The Lady Bulldogs look to get into the win column on Tuesday (September 8th) when they make a short trip over to Takoma Park, (Md.) to challenge Washington Adventist University at 7 p.m.
