Tia Williams (Abingdon, Md.) and freshman
Jada Mccullough (Baltimore, Md.) recorded three kills each of the nine total kills for Bowie State, but the Lady Bulldogs lose 3-0 at Virginia State University on Thursday evening in VSU's Multipurpose Center. The Trojans won 25-15, 25-4 and 25-6.

The Lady Bulldogs dropped to 1-6 in the Northern Division, 1-12 in the CIAA and 3-15 overall. The Virginia State Trojans improved to 5-1 in the division, 9-3 in conference play and 13-6 overall.

Bowie State senior
Amy Harvey (Laurel, Md.) chipped in a team-high seven service aces and added six digs. Sydney Uko led Virginia State with seven kills and Myia Jones contributed five kills for the Trojans in the win. Diamond Simpson and Alexsys Pullen combined for 21 set assists while Adriana Hazou paced Virginia State's defense with nine digs.
