TAKOMA PARK, Md. - The Bowie State University women's volleyball team notched its second straight win, dropping Washington Adventist University in straight sets 25-13, 25-14 and 25-18 on Tuesday evening.

Tia Williams (Abingdon, Md.) knocked down a match-high six kills on 13 attacks and sophomore
Cheyenne Salter (Baltimore, Md.) recorded a match-high 11 assists and added four service aces and two digs in the victory. Seniors
Breiona Garrison (Baltimore, Md.) and
Amy Harvey (Laurel, Md.) contributed five and four kills respectively on a combined 13 attacks. Garrison also tallied a match-high seven kills to go along with a team-high five digs for the Lady Bulldogs.

Bowie State (2-7) ended the night with an attack percentage of .233 compared to a minus .023 attack percentage for Washington Adventist (1-9).

Spring McCarthy was WAU's top offensive player with five kills while teammate Courtney Tooley was responsible for three kills in the loss.

Bowie State's Lady Bulldogs return to conference play this weekend's CIAA Round-Up, taking on Saint Augustine's and Fayetteville State on Saturday (10/1) and Shaw on Sunday (10/2).
