Bryan Redmond (Upper Marlboro, Md.) was named Offensive Lineman of the Week, fellow senior
Robert Chesson (Annapolis, Md.) was selected Offensive Back of the Week and junior
Amir Hall (Bowie, Md.) was tabbed Quarterback of the Week for the third week in a row and fourth time overall.
Redmond played a big role in helping Bowie State account for large chunks of real estate against Fayetteville State's Broncos. The Bulldogs rolled up 626 yards of total offense. Chesson carried the ball 15 times, rushing for a personal season-high 172 yards and scored two touchdowns in the Bulldogs' 64-31 win. He averaged 11.5 yards per carry against the Broncos. In just over three quarters of play, Hall threw for a game-high 329 yards, completing 22-of-32 passes (two interceptions) and threw four touchdowns. Hall also rushed for one touchdown.
No. 19 Bowie State will host Chowan University this Saturday (October 7th) at 4 p.m. in Bulldogs Stadium.
