BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie State University A.C. Jordan Arena was rocking during Monday night's CIAA Northern Division volleyball match against Virginia Union and the Bulldogs left it all on the court, falling 3-0 by set scores of 20-25, 20-25 and 22-25.

Senior 
Tia Williams (Abingdon, Md.) paced the home team with six kills on a match-high 16 attacks and added two solo blocks and an assisted block in the setback. Senior 
Kiana Moore (Newark, Del.) and junior 
Brittainy Houck (Burns, Ore.) contributed five and four kills on a combined 16 attacks for the Bulldogs. Houck added a match-high eight digs and two service aces.
 
Freshman 
Bianca Tucker (Edgewood, Md.) accounted for a match-high 12 assists while fellow freshman 
Oladia Menchaca (Landover, Md.) chipped in a half dozen assists for the Bulldogs.
 
Virginia Union's Ambryanna Moore (Elgin, S.C.) tallied six kills to lead the Panthers offense while Jamaica Adams (Dallas, Texas) tallied seven digs. Adams was also responsible for five service aces while teammate A'rmaria Wright (Arlington, Texas) had a team-high 10 assists. The win evens the Panthers season mark at 7-7, 5-5 in league play and 3-1 in the division.
 
Bowie State (1-17, 0-11 CIAA, 0-5 North) return to action on Sunday (October 15th) hosting Chowan University at 1 p.m. in BSU's A.C. Jordan Arena.
