BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie State University volleyball team suffered a 3-0 (23-25, 9-25 and 15-25) loss to Felician University on Thursday (Oct. 25) in a non-conference match in the A. C. Jordan Arena.

The loss drops Bowie State to 1-17 on the season while Felician moved its record to 11-16 overall.

Bowie State was led by Jordan sophomore
Oladia Menchaca (Landover, Md.) and freshman
Madison Marshall (Albany, N.Y.) with six and four kills, respectively. Sophomore
Bianca Tucker (Edgewood, Md.) had 13 assists, while sophomore
Chelsea Beaudoin (Upper Marlboro, Md.) and Menchaca contributed nine and seven digs for the Bulldogs.

Felician was led by Kahea Aye with a match-high19 kills on 33 attacks to go along with three service aces and a trio of digs. Charlotte Greek added 27 assists, eight digs and a pair of kills. Sierra Gallagher was the leading defender for the Golden Falcons, picking up nine digs.

Bowie State will host a pair of home matches on Saturday (10/27), starting with a non-conference contest against Cheyney University at 1 p.m. followed by a conference tilt with CIAA foe Chowan University at 3 p.m.
