INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. –Bowie State University's football team is ranked 3rd in the first NCAA Super Region 2 poll released on Monday, October 28. The top eight teams in each of the four Super Regions of the NCAA are invited to the Division II Playoffs.
Bowie State will play its final regular season home game this Saturday (November 2) hosting Lincoln (Pa.) University for a 1 p.m. kickoff and will wrap up the regular season on the road at Elizabeth City State University on Saturday (November 9) at 1:30 p.m.
Two other CIAA teams are in the Top 10 as Virginia State is No. 7 and Virginia Union is No. 9.
