DOVER, Del. - Bowie State University volleyball played with tremendous enthusiasm on Thursday night at Wesley College, but the Wolverines were too much as the Bulldogs fell 3-1 by scores of 17-25, 9-25, 25-23 and 11-25.

Shalom Omo-Osagie played her best offensive match of the season, leading Bowie State with 12 kills with just three errors in 19 attack attempts (.474 attack%). Senior

Neysha Washington tallied 16 digs apiece in the loss.

A trio of Wolverines (Emily Waldridge, Maty Getty and Regan Healey) led Wesley with for 10 kills each. Lindsay Burg and Brooke Gurganus recorded 18 and 16 assists respectively.

The Wolverines recorded 47 kills to the Bulldogs' 35 and had 14 aces to BSU's four. Wesley also finished the match with nine more digs (61-52) than Bowie State.

Bowie State returns to action on Tuesday (September 24 when the Bulldogs host Frostburg State University. Match time is 6 p.m. in the Leonidas S. James Complex (A.C. Jordan Arena).
