CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) announced its week seven CIAA Food Lion Football Players of the Week honorees Monday morning and Ja'rome Johnson of Bowie State University was named the CIAA Quarterback of the Week for the second time this season.

In Saturday's 51-44 victory over Virginia State, Johnson attempted 26 passes, completing 14 of them for 246 yards and five total touchdowns (three passing, two rushing). The Washington, D.C., native also rushed for 51-yards to lead the No. 16 Bowie State Bulldogs to the win during the national televised game on AspireTV.
