WASHINGTON, D.C. – Bowie State University running back Calil Wilkins has been named this week's DC Touchdown Club Washington Metro College Football Player of the Honor Roll recipient announced Tuesday.
 
The Potomac High graduate rushed 19 times for a season-high 134 yards and a pair of touchdowns to lead the No. 13 Bulldogs to a 27-7 road victory at Virginia Union last weekend.
 
The accolade is Wilkins first by the DC Touchdown Club College Football committee, the Temple Hills, Md., native was also named this week's CIAA Food Lion Offensive Back Player of the Week on Monday for his performance.
