BOWIE, Md. – Bowie State women's volleyball will travel to Raleigh, N.C. to face Shaw University in a Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) contest. The match is slated to start at 6 p.m. from C.C. Spaulding Gymnasium.
The match will feature a live broadcast on the CIAA Sports Network.
Shaw is 12-5 overall and 11-1 in the CIAA, coming off a 3-0 victory against Virginia State on Thursday (Oct. 28). The Lady Bears are 2-1 at home and own a three-match win-streak entering Monday's tilt.
The Bulldogs are 4-16 on the year and 2-9 in league action. Bowie State dropped a 3-0 decision to Virginia Union last Thursday.
Within the Northern Division standings, Shaw stands in first place with a 7-0 mark while BSU stands 1-6. Monday's match will be the second time Bowie State and Shaw will square off. Last time out, the Lady Bears took a 3-0 (25-15, 25-21, 25-12) win over the Bulldogs inside A.C. Jordan Arena on Oct. 11.
