BOWIE, Md. – The Bowie State women's basketball team will host Goldey-Beacom on Sunday, Nov. 28 at 3:30 p.m. from A.C. Jordan Arena. Live stats will be available on www.bsubulldogs.com.
All media interested in covering a Bowie State men's and women's basketball contest will need to request credentials two days prior to the event. Credentials will not be granted the day of the game.
Bowie State Athletics is requiring all fans and spectators to show proof of vaccination and proper identification prior to entering the arena. Additionally, all fans are required to wear face coverings (masks or neck gaiters) at all times unless eating or drinking while in A.C. Jordan Arena.
Sunday's meeting will be the third time both Bowie State and Goldey-Beacom meet on the court since 2016. Bowie State is 2-0 against the Lightning, most recently capturing a 60-49 victory that occurred during the 2017-2018 season in Wilmington, Del.
The Bulldogs earned their first win of the season on Sunday, defeating Wilmington by the score of 52-44 at home. Freshman Katerra Myers (Burtonsville, MD) led the winning effort with 15 points and six rebounds, she was 5-of-8 from the field, grabbing five offensive rebounds. Senior Talanya Hutton (Seat Pleasant, MD) added 14 points and eight rebounds.
GBC (2-2) has lost their last two games entering Sunday's match. The Lightening fell 78-69 to Shippensburg on the road. Three players scored in double figures led by Briana Seltzer with 27 points.
The Bulldogs own a 18-game win-streak entering Sunday's game.
