WASHINGTON, D.C. – Add another accolade this week for senior
Ja'rome Johnson of the Bowie State University football program as he was announced this week's DC Touchdown Club Washington Metro College Football Player of the Week Honor Roll recipient.
The 6-foot-1, 182 pound quarterback led the No. 24 Bulldogs to a 28-19 win over Saginaw Valley State last weekend. The Washington, D.C., native threw 27-of-35 pass completions for 317 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions in the winning effort.
This praise is one of three for Johnson this week as he was previously named the BOXTOROW National Player of the Week and Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Quarterback of the Week.
Additionally, the reigning CIAA Offensive Player of the Year currently leads the conference with 635 yards passing and six touchdowns through the air after two weeks.
