About the Bulldogs
The Bulldogs look to snap a three game losing skid Thursday at Virginia Union. Bowie State fell 85-67 to Fayetteville State Monday at Capel Arena. Junior Quinton Drayton (Bowie, MD) and sophomore Khalil Williams (Annapolis, MD) both scored a team-high 17 points, as it would not be enough to overcome the large deficit late in the second half.

Bowie State is 2-10 on the road, their three-game-losing skid have been all road games. The Bulldogs are currently fourth in the Northern Division standings with a 3-3 mark.

Scouting Virginia Union
VUU has won its last four games entering Thursday's game and have not lost a game at Barco-Stevens Hall this season. The Panthers claimed an 80-64 victory over Claflin last time out where Tyriek Railey led all scorers with 20 points to go along with four rebounds. The win marked the 22nd-straight win for the Panthers at home, as VUU has not lost in Barco-Stevens Hall since the 2019-20 season against Catawba (84-74) on Nov. 13, 2019.

Virginia Union is tied for first place in the division with both Shaw and Lincoln with a 4-2 mark.

The Series
This will be the second meeting between Bowie State and Virginia Union. Last time, the Bulldogs handed the Panthers its first conference loss with a 65-61 win in A.C. Jordan Arena.
