BOWIE, Md. – The Bowie State women's tennis team will host Virginia Union on Saturday, Apr. 23 for senior day at the BSU Tennis Courts. The Bulldogs will honor one senior, Bianca Tucker (Edgewood, MD) prior to the first serve at 12 noon.

The Bulldogs are coming off a 9-0 victory at Trinity (DC) Thursday. The win marked the sixth shutout for BSU this season as the Bulldogs welcome the Lady Panthers of VUU with a 7-3 overall record, 4-2 mark at home and four-game win-streak.

Bowie State and Virginia Union met earlier this season with the Bulldogs grabbing a 4-0 win in Richmond, Va. on Mar. 26. BSU who stands 3-0 in the Northern Division and currently in first place has the opportunity to win the division title for the first time in program history with three matches remaining in the regular season.

VUU is 4-4 overall and in the CIAA and 2-2 in the North.
