BOWIE, Md. – The Bowie State football team saw four of its members named to the D2Football.com Elite 100 Watch List. Redshirt senior Joshua Pryor (Baltimore, MD) was named First Team while redshirt junior Raymond Boone (Landover, MD) was named Second Team and both graduate seniors Quinton Bobo (White Plains, MD) and Mark Murphy (Seat Pleasant, MD) were named to the squad list, respectively.
The D2Football.com Elite 100 Watch List was selected by the staff of D2Football.com with input from coaches, scouts, media, and sports information directors.
All four Bulldogs were named to the All-CIAA team a season ago with Bobo selected First Team All-CIAA. Pryor, Boone and Murphy were all voted Second Team All-CIAA last season.
The nationally ranked Bowie State Bulldogs will host No. 16 New Haven on Saturday, Sept. 3 at 1 p.m. from Bulldog Stadium in its season and home opener. The contest will also recognize and celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 1972 Bowie State football team.
