BOWIE, MD -- The Bowie State women's volleyball team surrendered three-straight to the visiting Marauders Tuesday night at home falling to Millersville by the scores 15-25, 15-25 and 10-25 in its non-conference finale.
The non-conference loss moved Bowie State to 2-19 on the season while Millersville improves to 7-10 on the year.
Madyson Brinson finished with six kills on the day to lead the Bulldogs offense while Iman Wright recorded six digs to lead Bowie State defensively.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Bulldogs found themselves in an early deficit, losing a tough first set 25-15. Bowie State trailed by as many as 10 points as Millersville grabbed the advantage for good at 8-7 in a set that was notted up three times before the Marauders took control.
SET 2 | A 25-15 second-set loss put Bowie State behind 2-0 in the match. BSU trailed by as many as 10 points as Millersville grabbed the advantage for good at 8-7 in a set that was tied up five times before the Marauders took over the lead.
SET 3 | Bowie State was not able to win the third set and was swept by Millersville. The Bulldogs fell behind on the first point and never took the lead before losing the set 25-10.

Bowie State will travel to Elizabeth City, N.C. this weekend for the CIAA Round-Up II on Saturday, Oct. 14 through Sunday, Oct. 15 hosted by Elizabeth City State. The Bulldogs will take on St. Augustine's and Fayetteville State at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday (Oct. 14), followed by a tilt with Claflin on Sunday (Oct. 15) at 2 p.m.
