BOWIE, MD -- The Bowie State women's volleyball team could not out-play a potent Lady Vikings offense Monday at home losing to Elizabeth City State in three sets (20-25, 23-25, 17-25).
The loss dropped Bowie State's (0-5 North) record to 2-24 overall and 0-12 in CIAA action while ECSU improves to 13-12 overall, 10-2 in the league and 5-0 in the North.
Madyson Brinson finished with eight kills on the day to lead the Bulldogs offense. Defensively, BSU had two players reach double figures in digs as Tristynn Kerr had 13 and Mekenna Scott had 11.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Bulldogs fell behind early, losing the first set 25-20. BSU trailed by as many as nine points as Elizabeth City State never surrendered the lead in a set that was tied up just once before the Lady Vikings took control.
SET 2 | BSU lost set two 25-23, digging a 2-0 deficit in the match. The Bulldogs rallied from a seven-point 9-2 hole, but ECSU held on to take the set.
SET 3 | Bowie State couldn't prolong the match and lost in set number three. The Bulldogs fell behind on the first point and never clawed back into the lead before falling in the set 25-17.
