ELIZABETH CITY, NC --The Bowie State women's volleyball team fell to the Elizabeth City State Lady Vikings 3-0 (18-25, 16-25, 16-25) Thursday evening on the road at R.L. Vaughan Center.
The loss dropped Bowie State's record to 2-17 overall and 0-6 in CIAA action while Elizabeth City State (7-10) improves to 4-1 in the CIAA.
Haley Pelham finished with three kills on the day to lead the Bulldogs attack while Tristynn Kerr recorded 6 digs to lead them defensively.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Bulldogs fell behind early, losing a tough first set 25-18. BSU trailed by as many as nine points as Elizabeth City State never surrendered the lead in a set that was tied up just once before the Lady Vikings took control.
SET 2 | A 25-16 second-set loss put BSU in a 2-0 hole in the match. Bowie State trailed by as many as nine points as ECSU grabbed the advantage for good at 6-5 in a set that was tied up three times before the Lady Vikings took over the lead.
SET 3 | Bowie State couldn't prolong the match and lost in set number three. The Bulldogs lost a tough set 25-16. Bowie State trailed by as many as nine points as Elizabeth City State grabbed the advantage for good at 13-12 in a set that was tied up six times before the Lady Vikings took over the lead.
